Valleyfair

Liz Nick and I went to Valleyfair this last weekend. It was lots of fun. We rode the renegade and wild thing...don't we look like we're having a blast!

Horse Hair Pottery

This is not my pottery, however it's very similar to the pot I made. If I think of it, I'll take a photo of my pots. It's a horse hair firing. You put on a white type glaze and fire it, and then once it gets hot, you take it out and lay horse hairs on to it. They burn into the glaze creating this type of squigly sharpie smokey effect.

Trip to MOA

Last night Ellen, Kali, a friend of Ellen's Diane, and I went to the Mall of America for a visit. Kali got a gift certificate from her dentist for the rain forest cafe to build a bear. Kali made a chimpanzee and named her Polly. One of the photos she's giving Polly a bath. We also went on some rides in the park. Super fun!

My friend Shannon Moore has the same name as a WWE wrestler. They called her up to do a comparison story between her and the wrestler! She's so super cool to do it! I LOVE IT!
